[Event] May 30th in Shimbashi, Tokyo: Get-together with Bego, a Mensan from Catalonia
I'm pleased to host a casual gathering with Ms. Begonya Gaya Farre, Bego, a visiting Mensan from Catalonia, for a day of board games, karaoke, and cultural exchange.
The primary language of the event will be English, but those who are currently practicing or not confident in their English skills are more than welcome to join. Junior members and their guardians are also encouraged to attend.
We have reserved a spacious party room at a karaoke venue in Shimbashi for a relaxed, laid-back Saturday.
Bego is an elementary school teacher in Catalonia, teaching English and Spanish as foreign languages. She is known for her calm, cheerful, and kind personality. She has experience in special needs education and is also interested in the Japanese education system. Above all, she's a huge fan of anime! [Morning] Cultural Presentation by Bego
An insightful presentation on Catalan culture, featuring art (such as Gaudi, Miro and Dali), history, and local traditions with a slide show.
[Lunch] Free Time
Please bring your own lunch. We kindly ask everyone to take their trash home.
[Afternoon] Board Games
We will play language-independent analog games. Tables will be organized into "Serious/Strategy" and "Casual/Relaxed" groups so everyone can enjoy at their own pace.
[Evening] Karaoke
Anime songs, Western hits, and everything in between! "Listening only" is perfectly fine. If you prefer, you are welcome to continue playing board games in the corner of the room.
■ Other Information
- Participants who are currently banned from other member-hosted gatherings may be refused entry.
- Please consult with the organizer if you wish to invite non-member guests.
- In accordance with local regulations, participants under 16 years of age without a guardian must depart by 6:00 PM.

現在カタルーニャから来日中のBegoさん（Begonya Gaya Farre さん）と、ボードゲームとカラオケで楽しく遊びたいと思います。カラオケ店の広めの部屋を使用して、まったりゆるく過ごしましょう。途中から、または途中までの参加も大丈夫です。
会話は主に共通言語の英語になると思いますが、英語苦手or無理な方も是非ご一緒に。終始無言でも全く問題ありません。年少会員と保護者の方も歓迎です。ゲストの方の参加やお子さん連れもOKです（未就学児は無料です）。
Begoさんは現地の小学校で外国語教師（英語＆スペイン語）をされている、穏やかで明るく優しい女性です。現地では特別支援教育のご経験があり、日本の教育制度にご興味があるそうです。またアニメも大好きで、特にDr. スランプがお気に入りとの事です。詳細プロフィールはSIGHT訪問者一覧をご参照下さい。

ガウディやミロ、ダリといった芸術家、現地の歴史・文化について解説いただきます。投影スライドはカタルーニャ語＆日本語、説明は簡単な英語でとお願いしています。

【昼食】各自で飲食物をご持参下さい。ごみは持ち帰りとなります。
【午後】ボードゲーム
言語依存性の低いアナログゲームで遊びたいと思います。ガチ勢卓とゆる卓に分かれて適宜お過ごし下さい。

アニソン、洋楽、なんでもあり、聴き専も歓迎です！音が気にならなければカラオケに参加せずボドゲを継続して頂いても大丈夫です。
